Here are the plans for this week:
Monday
- Introduce the parts of a newspaper (slideshow)
- PicLit assignment - grammar and caption writing
Tuesday
- Read a newspaper article from the Ottawa Citizen and identify the parts of an article
- RACES - which section of the newspaper is your favourite?
- Find an article online, from the Ottawa Citizen, and fill in the organizer
Wednesday
- While reading the Ottawa Citizen, answer the Comic and Games questions
- Start writing your own news article - the articles will have to be about the community or the school - these articles will be published for all to view!
Thursday
- Work on article
Friday
- Finish article and hand in. If the article is completed during class, I can print otherwise this has to be printed at home and handed in on Monday.
